The students plunged into the world of 3D this week. They inquired about the different 3D shapes and their different parts. The students learned about faces, edges and vertices of 3D shapes. They compared 2D and 3D shapes using a Venn diagram. They finally ended the week by creating 3D shapes using shape nets.
