The delectable Indian savoury the 'Samosa' took on a different meaning in the Numeracy class when the students played the game 'Samosa' to familiarise themselves with multiples.
The rules of the game were to count from 1 and say 'Samosa' when a multiple of a certain number was encountered. For example for the multiples of 2 the game would be 1, samosa, 3, samosa, 5, samosa and so on.
As the students played this game with different numbers there was keen competition to remain in the game.
This game apart from strengthening the times tables also helped the students focus on concentration and listening skills and proved to be an enjoyable activity.
